Pumpkin Bread Recipe
On a fall afternoon, the air is chilly, the windows are foggy, and inside your home in the kitchen, you find yourself warm and cozy with the smell of pumpkin, cinnamon, and cloves.
Hi friends, today I’m going to show you how to get yourself in the kitchen and enjoy all the delight that comes from baking this fall.
The Ingredients.
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 large egg whites
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
For the Pumpkin Pie seasoning, I use Flavor God. Flavor God is my favorite brand for all my kitchen seasonings.
Instructions:
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit & grease your loaf pan with butter & flour or cooking spray.
Step 2. Combine & whisk the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking soda, spices, and salt.
I had already premixed the spices (Flavor God’s pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, & salt) and then added them all together to flour and sugar mixture.
Step 3. After the dry ingredients are whisked together. In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients: oil, egg whites, pumpkin puree, and vanilla. Make sure to use a mixer or hand mixer to beat the ingredients until thicken.
Step 4. Using the same mixer combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
I also start with a whisk to slowly mix together the ingredients and then finish with the hand mixer to make sure everything is well blended together.
Step 5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
Step 6. Make the crumble topping and sprinkle on top of the pumpkin batter.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
Step 7. Bake in the oven for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Step 8. Once your bread is finished, let cool.
& now your pumpkin bread is finished. You can slice it up, drizzle with icing, and enjoy!
